I have tried MANY different scents so far, including vanilla, lemon meringue, papaya paradise, oatmeal cookie, almost paradise, herb garden, pumpkin pie and vanilla almond.  Each scent I have chosen has been great!  I like the more fruity scents for the summer, and I then switch to the warmer ("creamy") scents once Fall begins.  Vanilla almond is a nice mix of vanilla and almond - with both scents coming through clearly.  It is strong, but not overpowering, and is quite relaxing.  A nice candle to light at night, when you are winding down...  These candles are superb!!!
